Martha Donavan Women’s Leadership Award

Dr. Sonia Udod received the Martha Donavan Women’s Leadership Award. This award is given to promising faculty to enhance their leadership skills for academic leader roles and service.

“My goal in pursuing leadership training is to create leadership knowledge, build research capacity, and support graduate students and emerging nurse leaders in work effectively in today’s complex health care environment. I want to learn more about creating a culture of innovation in the master of nursing leadership stream, and about leading organizational and system change to improve patient care.”

2019-2020 Manitoba Training Program for Health Services Research Recipient

Congratulations to Master of Nursing Student, Jacqueline Molina, RN BN on receiving a prestigious award to participate in the 2019-2020 Manitoba Training Program for Health Services Research (MTP).   MTP is a one-year, applied training program and fellowship offered to graduate students in health services research.   The applied training includes seminar instruction, professional development activities and field placements.  Ms. Molina’s topic of inquiry focuses on the need to support front line Nurse Managers during health system restructuring.
